FAQs
Planning a limo hire booking can raise questions about prices, vehicles, passenger numbers, occasions, routes, timings, decorations, deposits and what happens on the day. Our FAQs answer the most common questions customers have asked us about limo hire in London, helping you understand how bookings work, what options are available, and what details we need to give you an accurate quote.
Quotes, Prices and Payments
You can request a quote through our online enquiry form or speak directly with our booking team. Tell us when and where you are travelling, how many passengers will be on board and which vehicle you are interested in.
We will review the complete journey before providing a price. This means the quote can account for the correct vehicle, journey time, mileage, additional stops and any waiting or return arrangements you require.
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically reserve a vehicle. Your booking is only secured once the required payment has been made and you have received written confirmation.
Please provide the date of travel, full collection address or postcode, destination, passenger numbers and the time you need to arrive. We will also need to know whether you require a one-way journey, a return collection, waiting time or several stops.
You should also mention your preferred limousine, the occasion and any particular requirements, such as luggage, wheelchair access, decorations or collections from multiple addresses.
The more complete the itinerary is at the quotation stage, the more accurately we can price and plan the booking.
The cost depends on the vehicle, date, journey, hire duration and details of the itinerary. A short local journey in a standard stretch limousine will be priced differently from a longer booking involving a large vehicle, several collection points or extended waiting time.
Demand can also affect availability and pricing, particularly during prom season, the summer wedding period, Christmas, New Year and major London events.
Rather than using a single hourly figure for every journey, we provide a personalised quote based on the complete booking.
Your quotation will set out the agreed vehicle, collection time, itinerary, hire period and the services included in the booking. It will also explain whether waiting time, additional stops, parking, airport charges or other journey-related costs are included.
Any optional extras or additional charges should be agreed before the booking is confirmed. Unless you request a change or the hire runs beyond the agreed arrangements, there should be no unexpected additions to the confirmed price.
Read the quotation carefully and ask us about anything that is unclear before making payment.
A deposit is usually required to secure the vehicle and date. Until the required deposit or booking payment has been received, the limousine may remain available to other customers.
The deposit amount, payment deadline and any conditions relating to cancellation or rescheduling will be shown in your quotation. The remaining balance must be paid by the date stated in your booking confirmation.
A request for a quote, telephone discussion or provisional itinerary does not by itself confirm the reservation.
Your booking is confirmed once the required payment has been received and we have issued written confirmation. The confirmation should show the date, agreed vehicle, collection details, destination and the main terms of the hire.
Check these details as soon as you receive them. Names, addresses, telephone numbers and timings should all be correct, particularly where the journey involves a wedding venue, airport terminal, stadium or several passenger pickups.
Contact us promptly if anything needs to be corrected.
Payment can normally be made by bank transfer or a major debit or credit card. The payment options available for your booking will be included with your quotation or invoice.
Please use the booking reference when making payment so it can be matched to your reservation. A booking is not secured until the payment has been received and acknowledged.
Do not send payment to an account or payment link that does not match the details supplied with your official quotation.
Journey Arrangements
Yes. Limousines can be booked for a one-way transfer, a planned return journey or a longer period of hire.
A one-way booking is suitable when you only require transport to the destination. A return booking includes a later collection, while hourly or extended hire is useful when the vehicle is needed for several locations, photographs, a wedding itinerary or an evening event.
Tell us how you intend to use the limousine so the appropriate amount of time can be included in your quote.
Yes, multiple passenger collections can be included in the itinerary. This is popular for proms, weddings, birthdays, hen parties and group journeys where passengers are starting from different homes.
Provide every address in the preferred collection order. We will consider the distance between the stops and the time required for passengers to board when planning the journey.
Allow extra time if the group would like photographs at each collection point. Last-minute address changes may affect the route, arrival time and price.
Booking early gives you the best choice of vehicles, particularly when you need a specific limousine, colour or passenger capacity.
Demand is highest during prom season, the summer wedding period, weekends, Christmas, New Year and major sporting or entertainment events. For these dates, it is sensible to enquire as soon as your plans are known.
Short-notice bookings may still be possible, but vehicle choice will depend on availability. A booking is not secured until the required payment has been made and written confirmation has been issued.
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change the date, time, route, vehicle or passenger arrangements. Changes are subject to availability and may result in a revised price, particularly if they affect the journey length or hire duration.
Cancellations are handled under the terms supplied with your quotation and booking confirmation. The amount refundable, if any, will depend on when the cancellation is made and the costs already committed to the booking.
Always request changes in writing so there is a clear record of the updated arrangements.
Tell the chauffeur or booking team as soon as you realise that more time may be needed. The hire may be extended if the vehicle and chauffeur are available, but an extension cannot always be guaranteed because another booking may follow.
Additional time will be charged at the rate or unit stated in your booking terms. This may also apply when passengers are late, an event overruns or extra stops are requested on the day.
It is usually better to allow sufficient time when arranging the original booking than to rely on an extension being available.
Vehicles and Passenger Numbers
Our available fleet includes traditional stretch limousines, larger Hummer-style limousines, Chrysler limousines, party buses and luxury chauffeur vehicles. Availability varies according to the date, passenger numbers and collection location.
Each vehicle offers a different balance of appearance, interior space, passenger capacity and luggage room. A vehicle that works well for a prom group may not be the most practical option for an airport journey or a wedding dress.
Visit our fleet page or contact the booking team to compare the vehicles available for your date.
Start with the number of passengers, but also consider the type of journey. A larger vehicle may be more comfortable for a group celebration, while a luxury car or traditional stretch limousine may better suit a wedding or formal arrival.
For airport bookings, luggage space can be just as important as seating capacity. For journeys involving children, wheelchair users or several collection addresses, tell us about these requirements before selecting the vehicle.
We can recommend suitable options once we know the occasion, itinerary, passenger numbers and any practical requirements.
Passenger capacity varies by vehicle, and the permitted number must never be exceeded. We will confirm the licensed capacity of the specific limousine or party vehicle offered for your booking.
Every passenger, including children, must be included when stating the group size. Do not choose a vehicle on the assumption that an additional person can be added later.
For airport bookings, a vehicle may also need to operate below its maximum passenger capacity to provide enough room for luggage.
Your booking confirmation will identify the vehicle or vehicle type reserved for the journey. We make every reasonable effort to supply the confirmed vehicle.
In the unlikely event that it becomes unavailable because of a breakdown, accident or another issue beyond reasonable control, we will contact you and arrange the closest suitable replacement available. This may be an equivalent vehicle or an upgrade.
Any replacement must still be appropriately licensed, insured and suitable for the confirmed passenger numbers.
We operate our own vehicles and also work with established limousine operators across London and the surrounding counties. This gives customers access to a wider range of vehicles and helps us accommodate bookings across a large service area.
Where a trusted partner is used, the booking remains coordinated through us. The supplied vehicle, operator and chauffeur must meet the appropriate licensing and insurance requirements.
Our network is focused on London and neighbouring counties; we do not claim to provide a nationwide operator network.
Features vary between vehicles. Depending on the limousine selected, amenities may include entertainment systems, music connectivity, interior lighting, climate control, privacy features and refreshments.
Ask about any feature that is important to your booking rather than assuming it is included in every vehicle. Specific music connections, Wi-Fi, decorations or refreshments should be confirmed before payment.
Luggage space also varies significantly. Stretch limousines are designed primarily for passengers and may carry less luggage than expected, so airport customers should provide the number and approximate size of their bags when requesting a quote.
On the Day
London traffic, roadworks and major events are considered when the booking is planned, but no transport provider can guarantee that unexpected disruption will never occur. Tell us the time you must arrive, rather than only the time you would like to leave, so suitable journey time can be allowed.
At some stadiums, theatres, airports and central London venues, the limousine may need to use a designated or nearby legal stopping point instead of waiting directly outside the entrance.
If an unexpected mechanical problem occurs, we will contact you and make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement vehicle.
Yes. Commercial limousine bookings are fulfilled using appropriately licensed and insured vehicles, operators and chauffeurs. The precise licensing arrangement can vary according to the vehicle type and passenger capacity.
Vehicles are maintained, inspected and prepared for passenger service, and chauffeurs are expected to meet the professional and legal requirements relevant to the work they perform.
If a partner operator fulfils the journey, the same requirement applies. We do not knowingly place bookings with unlicensed drivers or vehicles.
Children must be included in the passenger count, and any child-seat or adult-supervision requirements should be discussed before booking. For proms and other under-18 events, the reservation should be made or approved by a responsible adult.
Alcohol is only permitted for passengers aged 18 or over and must comply with the policy agreed for the booking. It will not be provided to underage passengers. Food and soft drinks may be restricted in some vehicles, particularly where they could cause stains or damage.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted. Passengers are responsible for respectful behaviour, and charges may apply for damage, breakages or excessive cleaning.
Accessible transport can be arranged for some bookings, subject to the passenger’s needs, vehicle availability and the journey details. Tell us whether the passenger will remain in a wheelchair, transfer to a seat or travel with a folded wheelchair, walking frame or other mobility equipment.
Please provide the dimensions and weight of any wheelchair where relevant, as not every vehicle can safely accommodate every type of equipment.
Assistance dogs are welcome where required. Let us know what assistance is needed from the chauffeur so we can confirm what can safely and reasonably be provided before the booking.
Coverage and Special Occasions
We provide limousine hire throughout London and in selected areas of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent and Surrey.
Journeys can begin or end outside Greater London, subject to the date, distance, vehicle and full itinerary. We use a combination of our own fleet and established operators across London and the surrounding counties.
Visit our coverage page to explore the main areas served. If your location is not listed, send us the collection and destination postcodes so we can check availability.
Yes. Limousines can be booked for airport journeys, weddings, school proms, birthdays, concerts, sporting events, corporate occasions and other group celebrations.
Airport bookings should include the terminal, flight number, passenger count and luggage. Wedding bookings may require several locations, photography time and coordination with the venue. Prom bookings should include clear arrangements for under-18 passengers, while large events may require several vehicles or multiple collection points.
Tell us the purpose of the booking and the full itinerary so the service can be planned around the occasion.
