Need longer, a return journey or a one-way transfer? Our guide to one-way, return and hourly hire explains which works out best, and we will quote for exactly what you need.
The price on your quote is the price you pay
The prices on this page are starting prices. Once we know your date, route and vehicle, we send you a written quote, and that figure is final. We do not add anything to it afterwards.
Already in your quote
- The vehicle and your chauffeur for the time you book
- Fuel
- Tolls and road charges, including the Congestion Charge
- Parking and airport drop-off charges
- Every pickup and stop you told us about
If it is on your itinerary, it is in your price. Nothing is added on the day for tolls, parking or anything else on the route. Our guide to what is included with limo hire covers what you get inside the vehicle.
The one extra: more time
£150 per extra hourIf you ask to keep the vehicle longer on the day, extra time is £150 for each hour. The same rate applies if the hire runs over the time you booked.
Extra time depends on the vehicle being free, so ask as early as you can. If you already know you will need longer, tell us when you ask for a quote and it will be in your fixed price from the start.
How you pay
- Secure payment link
- Card or bank transfer
- Never cash
You pay a deposit to secure your date, then the balance by the date on your booking confirmation. Every payment is made by card or bank transfer through a secure payment link. How booking works takes you through each step.
Why we never ask for cash
Some limo firms only take cash. Cash leaves no record of who you paid or how much, and no way of getting your money back, which is how some firms get away with not turning up. A card payment can be disputed with your card provider if the service is not provided, as MoneyHelper explains.
What limo hire costs per person
You hire the whole vehicle, so the more seats you fill, the less each person pays. A larger limo costs more in total and often less per head.
- About £47each, 8 sharingStretched Lincoln limo, one hour from £379
- About £38each, 13 sharingLincoln Navigator limo, one hour from £499
- About £32each, 16 sharing16-passenger Ford Excursion limo, one hour from £519
- About £35each, 16 sharing16-passenger party bus, one hour from £559
Per-person figures are a comparison only. One person makes the booking and is responsible for it, and every passenger counts towards the vehicle’s legal limit, including children.
What changes the price of limo hire in London
A “from” price is the lowest price for that vehicle on a standard date with a simple journey. Six things move it.
- The vehicle. Larger and rarer vehicles cost more. The fleet page shows every option.
- The date. Key dates cost more because demand is higher. They include prom evenings, Saturdays in the wedding season, bank holiday weekends, Christmas and New Year, and major London events.
- How long you need it. One hour suits a single journey. Most celebrations need three.
- Where you are going. Longer routes and collections outside London add time and mileage.
- Pickups and stops. Each extra address adds time. Our guide to planning multiple pickups shows how to keep it simple.
- Airports. Flight times and luggage decide the vehicle and the timing. See airport limo hire.
How to get cheaper limo hire in London
The cheapest booking is a simple one on a quiet date. These choices bring the price down without cutting corners on the vehicle or the operator.
- Choose a Sunday to Thursday date that is not a key date.
- Use one central pickup point for the whole group.
- Keep extra stops to a minimum.
- Fill the seats, so the cost is shared between more people.
- Ask for the lowest-priced vehicle that seats your group, not a particular model.
- Book one way if you do not need a return.
- Book early for proms and summer weddings. See how far in advance to book.
- Tell us your budget when you ask for a quote.
A very low quote from elsewhere deserves a second look. Check who holds the operator’s licence, whether the vehicle is insured to carry paying passengers and whether you can pay by card. Our safety and booking checks guide lists what to ask.
Prices by occasion
What you need from the vehicle changes with the occasion, and so does the quote. Each page explains what to plan and what to tell us.
Limo hire price questions
How much does it cost to hire a limo in London?
One hour starts from £379 for an 8-passenger limo on a standard date. Most 8-passenger limos are £379 to £499 for one hour, 13-passenger limos start from £499, and 16-passenger limos and party buses are £519 to £599. Three hours starts from £559.
The Ferrari limo, the fire engine limo and the 24-passenger party bus are priced on request, because availability is limited.
Is the price for the whole limo or per person?
For the whole vehicle. An 8-passenger limo at £379 works out at about £47 each when all eight seats are filled, and a 16-passenger Ford Excursion at £519 is about £32 each.
What does “from” mean on your price list?
It is the lowest price for that vehicle on a standard date with a simple journey. A key date, a longer route, extra pickups or more time will raise it. Send us the details and we give you a fixed written quote, so you see the full price before you decide.
Are tolls, the Congestion Charge, parking and airport charges included?
Yes. Tolls, road charges, parking and airport charges for the journey you booked are all in your quote. Nothing is added on the day.
What happens if we run over the time we booked?
Extra time is £150 for each hour and depends on the vehicle being free. If you think you will need longer, tell the chauffeur or call us as soon as you know. Better still, tell us when you ask for a quote and it will be included in your fixed price.
What does a one-hour limo hire include?
The vehicle and chauffeur for a one-hour period that starts at your agreed pickup time. Your pickup, journey, any stops and the final drop-off all need to fit inside that hour. If your plans need longer, a three-hour booking is usually better value than stretching a one-hour one.
Do limo prices go up for proms and weddings?
They can. Proms and weddings fall on a small number of busy dates, so the most popular vehicles book up early and are priced on the date. Several home pickups, a return journey or waiting at a ceremony also add time. Give us the full plan and your quote will cover all of it.
Is a bigger limo always more expensive?
In total, usually. Per person, often not. A 13-passenger limo from £499 is about £38 each when full, less than an 8-passenger limo from £379 at about £47 each. Always choose a vehicle with a seat for every passenger. A chauffeur cannot carry more people than the vehicle is licensed for.
Can we add pickups or stops?
Yes. Tell us every address when you ask for a quote and they are priced in from the start. If you add one after booking, we tell you the new price before we make the change. Stops requested on the day depend on the vehicle having time before its next booking.
How do I pay, and is there a deposit?
You pay a deposit to secure your date and the balance by the date on your confirmation, by card or bank transfer through a secure payment link. We never ask for cash. If you cancel, the deposit is not refunded. If your vehicle does not arrive, you get it back. Cancellations and refunds has every figure.
